February 2025: Trudging Along

Kept moving forward this month, nothing too shiny to discuss here but here goes nothing.
Campfire
In February we onboarded loads of new authors and books, and it felt good seeing the number of titles go up and to the right. We also released a bunch of QoLs and improvements to the entire publishing process, and I built a bulk importer internal tool to make the process of fast-tracking an author and their books onto the platform faster. And I made progress on the next major update.
Lots of stuff cooking at Campfire, but feels sluggish in the short term since we're building a two-sided marketplace app from nothing.
Trophy
In February I built SDKs for a bunch of major languages. This was also a bit of a slog and I was happy to get them out the door. It's all fully automated going forward so shouldn't introduce more headaches.
Then I built a programmatic SEO system that generates blog posts and posts them to the site. And I built the blog itself.
Lastly I began work on a very major update which allows for email customization, this involves a refactor of the entire email generation system to turn it into a blocks-based editable system. That should be released by the end of March.
Startup Poznan
Hosted a coworking meetup. We got some work done, had some OK chats, but next time I'd like to spend more time really grokking tough problems. We spent more time in the abstract talking about ideas. Beers meetup is in March, then another coworking in April.
Plans for March
- Get a goddamn Trophy customer
- Finish Campfire's Update 38
- Publish more authors on Campfire
- Finalize Kraken's Guide to the House Witch in Campfire
- Host a Startup Poznan beers meetup
